This position is located in Jasper North Georgia Mountains 60 miles from Atlanta. The Lead Phlebotomist will collect blood specimens in a timely manner as requested by the medical staff. Teaching other Piedmont Mountainside employees the correct procedures for collecting blood specimens. Supervising the phlebotomy team. Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess basic phlebotomy skills and have a working knowledge of clinical laboratory and tests performed. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Ability to make independent judgement and use initiative. Ability to maintain accuracy and alertness in a busy setting. Current BCLS required. |
