This position is located in Jasper North Georgia Mountains 60 miles from Atlanta. The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), under supervision will efficiently perform procedures and test as ordered for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. MLT will be responsible for maintenance of the analyzers, quality control, collection of the specimens, maintaining supplies in accordance with standards of practice and established policy and procedure. Collaboration with nursing, medical and other staff ; to coordinate patient care activities that will be necessary to support the facility's mission statement, achieve customer satisfaction and identify system problems as opportunities for improvement. Minimum Qualifications: The ideal applicant will have a high school or equivalent degree and National Certification as MLT. |
